The membership will vote at the annual meeting whether two members will be expelled from the Samoyed Club of America. The evidence in both cases is presented here for you to view. It is important that you take the time to review all the evidence. You, the members of SCA, will make the determination whether they remain members. Per SCA bylaws, no evidence may be presented at the annual meeting. Any decision you make must be based on what you see here.

Susan Black

Charges were preferred against Susan Black (Hawkwind Samoyeds) by members in good standing of the Samoyed Club of America. After discussion, the Board of Governors determined to accept jurisdiction of the matter. Notice was sent and hearing held.

It was the decision of the Board of Governors that Ms. Black be suspended from membership and the associated privileges of the Samoyed Club of America until the next Annual Meeting of the Club. At that time, it will be the recommendation of the Board that she be expelled from the Club.

Expulsion can only be done at the Annual Meeting, according to Article VI, Section 4 of the Bylaws of the Club. The President of the Club will present the charges, findings, and recommendation, then Ms. Black may speak. No evidence may be presented at this meeting. Following that, the members present will vote by secret, written ballot; a 2/3 vote is required to expel.
